Derek Stepan is day-to-day with an upper body injury, Andrew Gross reports. Stepan will make travel with the Rangers to Boston, but it’s unlikely he’ll play Thursday night. Most writers seem to believe it’s his wrist that’s ailing, not his back like I suspected last night.
J.T. Miller slid in between Chris Kreider and Martin St. Louis in practice, with Hagelin, Moore and Stempniak forming the third line and Glass, Hayes and Fast the fourth.
Cam Talbot will start for the Rangers tomorrow night.
